"An Early History of the US Mountain Rescue Association:
Mountains Don't Care, But We Do!
"

A documentary about the early history of the Mountain Rescue Association (MRA) as well as individual stories of the founding rescuers. The film premiered at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood, Oregon in June of 2009, to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the founding of the MRA. In attendance were many founding members of the MRA, families and supporters, as well as esteemed members of the international mountain rescue community.

Since its premier the film has received several awards, including an Official Selection at the Tacoma Film Festival in October 2009, and a Special Jury Award (Best of Category) at the Mountain Film Festival in Mammoth Lakes, California in February, 2010.
